Hiddenwall, no matter what do not let the detractors keep you from going. I find the art beautiful and I'm really enjoying the story. I like seeing the path from a programmers eye of the if - - then - else routes along with seeing a bit of your thoughts behind decisions. Again, keep up the amazing work and I really look forward to your next update!
So far the story is good just wish there was a little bit more excitement in it. One thing that i do want to point out is that you used images from Harry Potter. For instance when Ramos and the main character are shipwrecked and find the small town, the brown haired woman's house is Ronald Weasley's house. Even though you distorted the image, you still used a image that could have copyright to it.
I give this one a 2/5. I can see the effort that went into this, but that doesn't mean it's good. Way too few choices, way too much dialogue. I had the thing on skip past chapter 4. It had potential, but the absolute helplessness of the MC was absolutely dragging. I like RP'ing and putting myself in the shoes of the MC, and I felt absolutely dragged down and insulted by my characters helplessness and incompetence.
This comment is what happens when you criticize a work on the basis of a personal standard instead of understanding narrative objectives and functions of the different elements in the story. Turns out that the quantity of dialogue is variable, the number of choices has never needed to be extensive, and the "helplessness" of the character is in fact an important topic in the story, based on a context, of course.
Your tastes are not what makes a work "good".
Naturally, it's not perfect. Also, it can be boring for you, nothing bad with that, but it hardly defines anything. A different approach with pertinent observations could make a good review, but as it is, yours is rather useless.

Ramos route is awesome and his CG amazing. If we look the MC in the CG you really get a feeling of how puny and delicate he is. And I had a good laugh with the underwear situation. Keep up the good work ;)
I only saw the CG for Leandro up until now but the caracter in the CG is completely different from the sprite . While the game vibe is kinda "Romantic" feudal when it comes to the art the CG totally differs. Was kinda of a let down but Ill continue reading. ;)

I absolutely love Leandros but the fantasy CG for him was not only completely different, but nowhere near the quality of the sprite art (it actually turned me off a bit, which really shouldn't be happening in a scene like that). Such a bummer, especially after the quality of Ramos' CG.
The same happens with Koshiro but it's pretty understandable the owner of this project does it all alone and comissioning artists doesn't come cheap. Probably artists like the one that did the sprites and the ramos CG are more expensive that man sure knows how to draw. :P

I did Leandros route again after a loooong time and it seems that they were some changes when we are on the island. The changes are really good, like the 'real' training session with Leandros, but there is a moment that i miss, it's when the mc and Leandros are on the beach at night after collecting shells (towards the end of chapter 7) if i remember correctly, there was a very sweet scene between them. Was that moment removed on purpose ? Are we gonna have a moment like this in future updates for Leandros ? I get that given the little changes for the route it's too soon for Leandros to come out but i hope it happens later...
For those who managed to understand what i just said, i applaud because i suck at explaining myself most of the time ^w^
I would like to see Jaws without clothes... for reasons... *ahem*. Maybe when he goes fishing he could strip totally nude? It could happen! Doesn't have to be a "romance" side-route but a little eye-candy would be nice! ;)
On the koshiro's route when he asks to run away with him, there is a risk and it is not possible to click, is this because of some choice I made or is it really so?
I'm really loving the game and all of its characters, the story is just incredible and I'm loving Leandros very much he's a great character and very cute, I have a doubt in the future you think about putting the game in other languages like Portuguese or Spanish? I hope that there will be a route with hyosuke and koshiro they would be the best team ever and probably not just in combat. If the main character chooses to stay hyosuke could try to warn the player and abandon his village to become a kings guard. Koshiro’s and hyosuke’s personality’s could lead to some interesting developments.
Kingsguard is one of the best if not the best Furry VN that I know of.
Have you played to update? That would never happen for pretty obvious reasons not just the fact of previous bad blood between them, theres the fact hyosuke says the prince is just a sex object and if he was his kingsguard he would just fuck him and ditch him if he was in danger because its stupid to die for someone els. Then you have what happens at koshiro's village.
Just no, if anything happens with hyosuke it's most likely going to be in the corruption route.
I know that he said all that but I think that due to hyosuke’s dislike of seshiro he might want to get away from his village and he might develop a positive relationship to the mc if it would help him get out of the village. Plus he always wants to be better than Koshiro it would be a perfect opportunity for him to prove that he might be better then Koshiro and with the time he then would spend he might develop an actual loyalty to the mc or a bit more friendly rivalry to Koshiro. This would need to start before the mc and Koshiro left the village. The currently unavailable options like ‘wait for help’ in seshiro’s house could be an opportunity for hyosuke to try and become closer to being a kingsguard and to prove that he is stronger then Koshiro because what is a better show of strength than saving the king when even the kingsguard couldn’t or he could do it because he notices that seshiro is making a dumb decision.
tl:dr:Hyosuke could end up helping the mc in some currently not available decisions and might develop loyalty or even a friendship to the mc and maybe even get over some of the bad blood with Koshiro.

That's what character and relationship development is about. Just because Hyosuke feels/acts a certain way towards the Prince at that point, doesn't mean it can't change with experience and have a branching route for him. Hyosuke knows very little about the prince thus far because it wouldn't suit his purpose as the 'bad guy' in the existing Koshiro's route for him to know more and for the prince to lose his own bias. But if given the chance to get to know him (especially if the prince does something self-sacrificing to help Hyosuke, for example), or being forced by circumstance, there's every chance his views could completely change, and the prince as well. Not everything has to be about instantly liking a person (I mean, just look at Ramos' 'slow-burn' styled path). Relationships change - enemies can turn to friends and then to lovers. That's hardly a new idea. Also, we've already seen that Hyosuke can get along with the prince amicably enough from the bath scene, so it's not like he was an a**hole constantly, he just really hates Koshiro and the prince was used in the existing route as an effective way to get to him. In fact, that bath scene is probably what hooked some people on Hyosuke, and the idea of a Hyosuke x prince option. All in all, it wouldn't be either unimaginable or unable to be written. The fact that you can't see it happening or don't want it to, doesn't mean it can't happen, and happen well.

Now I do want to say, Chapter 8 is kind of a bit ambitious for a one-man writer because there are a lot of paths to take. I planned it out this way to increase replayability and also to make your decisions feel more impactful on the story. Because of how Chapter 8 is turning out size and content wise, I have made the decision to release a more linear path for now otherwise I will be working on this one chapter for quite some time (and to be honest I do need to move on to another chapter because of fatigue). Of course I am not ignoring this chapter, I will be working on it from time to time and it will be finished up at a later date. Hopefully though you wont have to wait too long.
I will always have additional public updates, but after this update there wont be public updates for a while until the paid/Patreon updates progress further along.
i've just recently started this novel and it is by far the best that i've have ever had the grace of reading, the story is extremely good and keeps the reader engaged , i will look forward to any updates, Koshiro is just 'wow' i really look forward to more updates.

I did find a way to continue the story, you just need to press ignore multiple times.
I have just uploaded a new android build, 1.02, it should have this issue fixed.
It didn't fix the issue for me. I even uninstalled and reinstalled, still had the same issue.
That JPG file has a wrong resolution and RenPy cannot load it, need to be adjusted in APK.
